Vintage Marantz 2285B Receiver in Great condition! Faceplate Blemish.box And Man. Condition is "Used". Shipped with ups for faster service.except for the faceplate the unit is mint in every way.clean shinny parts inside.can send a picture if needed-only can have 12 pics for listing.everything works as it should.I just went over the unit.
Align am and fm tuning
Deoxit all the controls and switches
Inspected all the caps-all are good
Tested the unit for hours with no problem
Ok yes the faceplate is a shame but I am selling it less than it should sell for.this way when you see a good faceplate comes up for sale you can get it for this unit.easy to change.remove all knobs and 4 bolts and the old faceplate will come off.
This is a very rare unit.the bd units hardly come up for sale.the unit has the original manual and shipping double box with packing.if faceplate was nice can get ,295.00.buy it now is ,650.00.
The unit sounds so good it surprised me.lots of good clean power.this is the unit to own.a true investment.
So sorry not shipping to the west coast.I’m afraid it will get damaged
