Luxman PD-121U direct drive turntable
Have owned this excellent turntable for nine years and it has always served me well.  About five years ago I recapped the entire unit, including the motor board.  No tonearm or cartridge included.  Keeps perfect speed….see pics.  Also has fine tuning speed adjustment dials under the front left edge of the table. Super heavy construction (feels like 40+ lbs) Sub-chassis is cast Aluminum. Comes with an SME 3009 arm insert. Original Acrylic cover with Luxman Logo and original Rubber/felt record mat included.
**Prior to owning this one I owned 2 Luxman PD-441 tables and have to say the sound that the 121 produces is actually superior. (Do your research on the 121….It’s rumored that the motor used in this table was made by Technics and is essentially the same motor used in the SP-10 models) I can verify the motor in this table is massive and extremely well made.
Also: easy to maintain motor, over time...there is a hole designed near spindle for easily Appling the needed oil.
Operational condition:
-Working as it should, holds speeds (33.3 & 45) perfectly
Physical condition:
-Overall very good physical condition considering age. Here is a list of defect areas. (Don’t want any surprises):
-Acrylic cover is presentable but has accumulated many scruffs and light scratches (mainly on top surface)  from years of use. May be able to be buffed out by the new owner. Tried to photograph the scuffs but they are difficult to capture.

connection has partially separated (not cracked) still functions as it should.
-Faux Rosewood veneer is in good condition. Just one corner on the back left has a small peel starting.
-The original speed window cover was missing so I made a replacement but not glued in place (loose)
-The speed indicator black light works but is on the dim side. Can read best in darker rooms.
-The aluminum top facia has tiny nicks mainly to the front right areas and near the tonearm insert.
-Aluminum trim around base has slight tarnishing in spots as well as edge of the cast Aluminum turntable platter
Packing/Shipping

Due to the weight of this table it w
ill be carefully double boxed.  Plenty of bubble wrap and foam peanuts will be utilized. Additional to calculated shipping charges there will be a packing/handling fee to offset the cost. I use brand new double wall boxes.
Shipping will be calculated more accurately at the end of the auction: via FedEx ground insured with direct signature required
