KENWOOD KR-9400 1970’s Monster STEREO Receiver

Description

For your consideration is a vintage 1970’s KENWOOD KR9400 1970’s stereo receiver. This is from the golden age of the silver-faced Japanese receiver wars. This is a very clean, one owner example from a non-smoking home. It has a few minor scuffs and scratches but looks really nice overall. The functions work well and the receiver produces a warm, powerful and detailed sound. The only issue is some mild “scratchiness” when adjusting the volume. All the other controls work silently. The receiver is very quiet when sitting idle and has no weird background noises or distortion.
This unit is built like a tank and is very heavy! It will be backed in thick layers of styrofoam sheets for safe arrival.
