    Description

    Elymais was a vassal kingdom of the Parthian Empire. Little is known of the people (not even
    their language), but their kingdom was located at the head of the Persian Gulf. They were known
    as skilled archers, and the kingdom lasted about 500 years before being overrun by the 3rd century
    Sassanid invasion.
