This truck runs and drives well. The CUMMINS 5.9L 200HP turbo diesel engine starts right up, sounds good and known for its reliability. The Allison automatic transmission shifts through all gears as it should. The Altec LS 45 bucket unit operates as it should at both control stations (upper bucket control & lower station). The boom runs off of a hydraulic PTO which has an in cab switch to turn it on. Strobe and work lights throughout the truck.
The functionality of the bucket is smooth and stable via pistol grip control. The exterior is in good condition with minor cosmetic flaws to be expected for the year and miles on the truck. The interior is in fair condition and shows wear but overall in nice condition. The rear of the step van is set up with a work station and plenty of shelving for storage and is in good condition with plenty of storage options. The paint is oxidizing in some areas but is only cosmetic. All tires appear to be in fair, workable condition. No warning lights are illuminated on the dash. We drove this truck in about 250 miles with no issues or hesitation. Great truck that you could hop in and get right to work. This truck was very expensive when new and appears to have been maintained very well and is very presentable. We bought this truck directly from First Energy as they were rotating their fleet. This truck has been used so please expect small damages, surface rust and imperfections. With only 32K showing on the dash this truck is just getting started!
